| Job Description: |
Handle buying and selling of foreign currencies as per SBP-approved exchange rates. Ensure accurate cash handling and maintain proper record of all transactions. Verify and authenticate currency notes to detect fake or counterfeit currency. Maintain updated knowledge of exchange rates and notify discrepancies, if any. Provide high-quality customer service by assisting clients with their foreign exchange needs. Accurately input transactions into the system and generate required reports. Reconcile daily cash and currency balances and prepare end-of-day reports. Ensure full compliance with AML/CFT regulations and customer KYC procedures. Handle traveler’s cheques, remittances, and other money market instruments (if applicable). Maintain cleanliness, safety, and confidentiality at the cash counter. Report suspicious transactions or behavior to the compliance department promptly. |
